Race weekend here in Atlanta. I have some more, of other teams' planes, but I just haven't put them into editing yet.

And a relaxing drink and cigar to finish the day.

Nice random pics there. Now I want a cigar!:bandit:

Re: Jeff Gordon, some floating animals, and a beer and cigar

Im waiting for a Saab 2000 picture. :D

Re: Jeff Gordon, some floating animals, and a beer and cigar

Is 24JG at PDK or Charlie Brown? Heh, I know it isn't ATL.

Re: Jeff Gordon, some floating animals, and a beer and cigar

How'd you get Yeungling in ATL?? I didn't think you could get that anywhere outside of a 20 mile radius of Philly. Great beer.

It's at FFC.

hah!

The Yeungling embargo ended back in November. ;) Before then, all we had to do was go over to Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Florida for our fix.

What kind of cigar?! That's what I want to know.

Re: Jeff Gordon, some floating animals, and a beer and cigar

I thought Jeff Gordon was flying commercial now?

Re: Jeff Gordon, some floating animals, and a beer and cigar

ahh life of a the furloughed :)

I think it's funny that all o them have their initials as last 2 of the airplane registration, is it really big of a deal?

There was one, a Lear 45 I believe. Don't recall the full registration, but the last two were JP. Any ideas who that might have been?

RCR had their Brasilia out as well. Just didn't snap a photo of it.

And as far as being furloughed. . .once the stress is popped by actually being told "You won't be needed after ______," life continues with a great sense of euphoria. ;)

article I saw he said that he would start flying on his own jet after the season starts up. Not practical for him to do otherwise. I believe he said that by flying commercial and no offseason testing he saved over 100k in January.

JP-Juan Pablo Montoya maybe?? Only one I can think of.

Forgive the ignorance but is that some sort of inlet halfway down the fuselage that leads into the tail section?

Re: Jeff Gordon, some floating animals, and a beer and cigar

Not sure, I'm not too familiar with the BAe-125's.

After I showed up, the APU did start, so I wouldn't be too surprised if that's what it is for.

Re: Jeff Gordon, some floating animals, and a beer and cigar

I would assume the whole team flys on the Saab 2000's?

Re: Jeff Gordon, some floating animals, and a beer and cigar

There were two Saabs from Joe Gibbs, and I think a total of two EMB-120's from Evernham Motorsports.

Juan Pablo Montoya? Not sure.
