Occasionally it's pretty obvious, like DEN in July on a 10SM and CLR day after 3 pm...well that's just a prime +TSRA weather.

If United really wanted to see if you were a heads up dispatcher they would slide you a TAF that shows VMC for the duration and ask you if you need an alternate.

Any answer other then "I don't know yet, I need more information" ends the interview.

Well, there is a new guy in charge of hiring so the process likely won't go as fast as the last two classes.

I am hearing that without an internal recommendation your chances of scoring an interview are slim. Nonetheless I would venture to guess they should start contacting people soon.

This suprises me as the new hires were encouraged to do so.. And most did.
