It\'s freakin hot out here!!!!

OMG it is so frickin brown and dry out here.....

Where is all the vegatation?

LOL okay just wanted to get that off my chest.

Seeing as I was just here last week and born in this state it is no real surprise.

But to come from Ohio where EVERYTHING was soooooooooo green ,lush and so wet.

So it is a drastic change but I'm sure to have fun and be closer to my family.

But on the good side dear lord it is good to see frickin mountains again.

Ohio is sooooooooooo flat lived there for 5 years never once seen a mountain.

Another good thing bout AZ no tornado warnings.

Anyways I hate moving/unpacking and you know that I just had to be on the 3rd floor

Yeah, I know the feeling. After a year in Indiana, its always nice to go home to California and actually see hills, and the ocean!

Not to mention the boring IAPs. My instrument flight lectures instructor actually gave extra credit to anyone that could find an interesting approach plate, since every IAP here in Indiana is a carbon copy of the next.

We flew into Kinston, NC last weekend, and we were told to descend to 1,800 feet about 15 miles from the airport!!! It's not like home!!!

When it was summer in the midwest people were always complaining is it was like 80-90 degrees.

I'd tell them that (hello) I'm from AZ where it gets 110-120 degrees in the summer.

No sweat off my back literally.

I'd also remind people that my ancestors used to pick cotton in the south so I'm more aclamated to hot temperatures.

Now as a "brotha" I get cold like super,super quick when it reaches 60 degrees I'm bundle up fast.

Living in the cold midwest never understood why some people of lighter color then me wore only a tee shirt and shorts to class when it was below zero or in the negative numbers.

Still not sure what kinda heat I appreciate more.

Dry heat or humidity.

But I figure it out some day.

Definately gon miss the snow the changing leaves and having all 4 seasons.

Got the windows open in the apartment, summer clothes on...its downright tropical!

Well great Gunderson, it was in the HIGH 80's/low 90's here this past weekend with 3 MILLION % humidity... even had afternoon showers yesterday.

Summer didn't "creep" in - it jumpted in with both feet.
