Seriously, nobody at PCL knows if this flight is going tomorrow? Or is everybody avoiding this one?
Based on my experience this week, anyone that says they know anything is lying.

I was just hoping, I guess, somebody would say, yeah, I'm in JFK and my buddy is working that flight...I guess not. I'll sit back and see what Delta's big plan is.Dude, we get our information from the airport screens. We generally have very little extra inside scoop over the passengers. Only time we get advanced information is if we're on the phone with SOC and they tell us they're going to change something the second before they put it in the computer.
Do any of you Pinnacle guys/gals know if DL 3535 is running tomorrow (1 Nov)? It actually is sounding like I'll at least, maybe, get to JFK, but I think the domestic stuff is very limited...I could see them cancelling a JFK-JAX direct flight instead of some other higher priority flights. Thanks to anybody who knows.
And, yeah, Kellwolf, why are you working your last week???
Thank you.Currently it is showing as going, and it has a crew and a deadheading crew.
Dude, what are you doing even considering coming up to work during this fiasco. Sickcation to end your time here.
Calling in sick will be used against him if he interviews at a major.
How exactly would that come up?
That sounds highly suspicious. Specific attendance records are available by PRIA requests?
Sickation does not mean you lose your vacation. The contract only states that you have to give a two week notice to get your owed and accrued vacation. I left 9E at the beginning of the month and was actually sick for my last trip. I called in. I'm not going to fly sick. They still paid all of my vacation.
Calling in sick or other unavailability (missed trips, unexcused or excessive absences) for a pilot’s final days will not be tolerated. A pilot unavailable for any unexcused reason during the final (2) two week working period will be considered as not completing the final (2) two week obligation and will not be entitled to accrued vacation. Sick benefits will not be paid without a physician’s certificate supporting any sick occurrence during the period. The sick documentation provided must be submitted during or immediately following the absence, but in no case later than their last day of employment. The documentation clearly shows the pilot was seen by the doctor during the period of the absence, and indicates a brief description of the malady.

Who cares? You're already hired and past the interview.
You and anyone else that's trying to get on with a major. And yes, I'm many years PAST my major interview, seeing as I PASSED it!
Sorry. Was drunk.
How often after you've passed an interview and been hired, does the airline hr person walk in on day one and say "so who called out sick your last week at your previous job?" Never.
It's none of their damn business either way.
