I know a lot of people build time this way and it is legal but what do potential employers think of it? I'm close to 900 hours and finally broke down and logged an hour of safety pilot time with a friend and it almost felt dirty. I guess I could get used to it but I don't want it to potentially hurt me down the road if I decide to pursue flying for a living. I'm not looking to log the next 600 hours split as safety pilot but thinking a couple nice trips a year to split the cost may be nice.
