Is it legal to fly without paper charts IFR?

ive *heard of other people* printing off skyvector screenshots for their route when they absolutely HAD to leave, and the FBO didn't have the correct charts (very common) and running off a few printouts of the main intended approach and maybe 2 backup options they could ask for....

Well I've heard of , er, people, just getting the ILS printout here & there and going for it without current plates.

Scary thing, what if you need to stop somewhere in the middle ? That's the point of my earlier question. If you do that, how do you get down safely, while retaining your cherished certificates ?

Uh, they do. Its under the specific airport instead of in a group at the front of the book.

How would you find it on the Garmin 1000? for Example, KCOD has a DP, however when clicking "DP" The screen is blank when Cody is selected. Everything is updated
