We get the activation code for the Jepp app, but we're told "don't use it in flight".

So for those of you who use an ipad in the airplane, what do you use for a case or kneeboard or anything? I have an ipad3 and am going to start using it and wondered what y'all could recommend in that department. Thanks

I think a lot depends on what you're comfortable using. I was talking with a mainline captain recently about his experience using an electronic flight bag. One of his complaints was that for the last many years he had put his approach charts in one place and now with the EFB, he was required to have it mounted in another location and he didn't like that.

It isn't so much a matter of what is best, but rather what fits your style.
