If you have your HP and HA endorsements, just log it as dual given and log it in his logbook as dual received.

To insurance? Sure. (It would to me if I were the underwriter)Doesn't it look fishy to give a guy dual given just so we both can log it? I was planning on trading legs.
Why wouldn't there be instruction given? Instruction on things like holding heading, altitude, course, speed.......Hmm...I thought there was something somewhere a letter from the feds that talked about just given dual for the sake of both pilots logging it even though there is really no instruction being given.
