I really wasn't here in the mid -winter. I got here in about Mid-January. It seemed pretty mild to me. The lowest temperature came about mid March and got as low as 38 degrees. I don't think it gets that cold here.

The winter is cold for us native texans but it is great IMC for the most part and you will get some great actual.

Yeah and 95 is usually good outdoor weather to Texans also. I don't know how someone can go jogging here in the middle of the day during the summer. I had to quit jogging in early May because it was so hot. But the part of the winter that I was here was pretty mild to me.
Go shoot Greenville (KGLH) and Cleveland (KRNV) for an afternoon of fun in August! I hope to shoot KRNV sometime in Sept.

You're not lying about that. And the mosquitos now........I am glad that I am not there right now. I wonder what species is swarming this summer. My first year there, it was the grasshopper....the next year, it was the crickets.......and then there was the frogs/toads.......and it is always the mosquitos.
I remember (age here) the early 90's (OK it was 1990) down there when it was really bad (before they started air and land spray/fogging. Big fans outside of places to try and blow the mosquitos away!
Heck, I was livin in Tupelo, MS, and I think we had a colony of mosquitoes in the garage. Every morning I would say "Hmmm, where did I get bombed in my sleep this time?" Personally, I'm waiting for the plague of locusts......
Kell I second the motion about the humidty. Georgia is the same way. Yesterday it was 90 or and add humidty and heat index was 100 and it sucked to be outside.
