I'm just going to leave this here....

A pilot making demands to ATC with regards to how they should be doing their job and what they need to be doing.

Oh I'm sure that would go well....
 
My bet is that Alaska unintentionally broadcasted the majority of that conversation, and that they were trying to say that to the guy next to them and unintentionally keyed the mic.
 
I think my new favorite thing in the world is how little the "average annoyances" of life annoy me compared to just a year ago or so.

I don't know how a guy who feels the need to key the mic and say that goes through life without stroking out.
 
The AS in this case was out of line. Don't do a controller's job and say for another aircraft to go around, when it does nothing but create confusion (as seen by the controller saying "who's going around?"). General rule of thumb and usually a good idea: if you look out your own window and don't like what you see, then you go around. Don't try and fly someone else's plane. And let controllers do their job.
 
Heard a SWA go off on an RDU ground controller one morning because he allowed a US Air to push in front of him and block access to 05R. This was back before the new terminal was built.

The controller's response was awesome!

"Do you like people telling you how to do your job, captain? I suggest you shut up or I'll clear Delta to push in front of you too."

Needless to say, there was no response from SWA.
