Identify that Airport !

Only hint you get ------> That runway is 15,000 feet long.

ABSOLUTELY NO googling for 15,000 foot runways!

The only place I can think of is the place where they land the shuttle. Isn't that 15,000 feet long? Holy crap, I could do about a dozen landings there!

Tel Nof? Its south of Tel Aviv

If not, I think it'd be safe to say it is in the Mid-East somewhere...Are those Royal Jordanian birds I see?

Not Al-Udeid, it's in the middle of nowhere.

Doha, Qatar, I think.

Ding, ding, ding W I N N E R !

It is Doha, Qatar... home of Qatar Airways.

Good job, Mike !

BTW, you ever been to Qatar during your military career? Either to Doha or Al-Udeid AB ?

Been to both Al Udeid and Doha. Rode a C-17 into Doha and had to stay there for about 27 hours on my way home from Afghanistan in 2002, so I thought I recognized the midfield turnoff to the military ramp (I was riding in the cockpit jumpseat). Spent 2 months at the air operations center at Al Udied during my last war in Iraq, on the backside of having been in Iraq for 7 months.

That's cool.

During your time at both Al Udied and Doha, what did you think of Qatar from a westerner's perspective?

That's totally unfair...Mike would be waaay more familiar with that part of the world than most of us...(sometimes through his GBU's camera

)

Give us something else!

That mountain seems fine, pixel-licaly hahahaa.

But yes, that mountain is the key to identifying the airport. Of course, the great amounts of snow is another hint.
