Next to the UAE, one of the more modern of the middle east nations. Not a place I'd want to live, but a nice place to visit, and definately better than the zones I was in while I was there.

Denver just opened up a runway of nearly the same size. Also Westover AFB in MA is the alternative runway for the space shuttle, pretty long.
