Holy mother of god those things are slow in the climb. Something changed at 14,700 feet, either he wanted more speed out of it or that is when something went wrong.
Well this thread certainly has an interesting "dynamic." @dustoff17 seems to have some pertinent information so thanks for that. The Flight Aware track is only interesting to me in that it abruptly ends at 15.2... I don't see anything unreal with the profile until the end.
The bottom line takeaway for me is that it's almost unimaginable that this airplane shed a wing in flight. If it's because of shoddy MX and a pencil whipping A&P I'll feel a lot better.
