I cannot find the perfect iPad kneeboard

Inverted

mmmmmm wine
So my company just got approved for iPad EFB use for all phases of flight. I cannot find one that I like. I am crossing my fingers that the iPad mini will come out soon, and we get approved for that (so I can get an iPad that will be solely used for work) but until that happens, my iPad is used for work and play. I have a case on it now which is this:

Basically a thin plastic backing with a smart cover like front cover.

My ideal kneeboard would be one that I can just fold the cover back on my current case, and slide the whole package into the kneeboard so I can use the kneeboard for work, get to where I am going, then slip it out to watch movies and do iPad stuff. I would like to have a folding kneeboard type that has room for maybe a notepad, or pockets to put small things in, as well as a pen loop or two.

Since I haven't found the perfect one, these are the ones I am considering:

Does anyone have these kneeboards that can comment on them?

That AvPad looks pretty cool. I kinda like it.

I decided on the Avpad, and like it a lot. It has a pocket on the front for charts, etc. On the inside the ipad slips in and out easily and the other side has elastic bands to hold a pad of paper or anything else you can think of. The kneepad is also reversible for left or right handed people.

I didn't like anything I tried for my knee, ended up using a RAM yoke mount.

Avpad doen't look too bad though. A bit pricey for nylon and velcro though.

This is a big thing with me, as I am left-handed. The AvPad is very close in profile/function to my Ultimate Kneeboard, which sort of adapts for left-hand use but it's not easy.

I have an Avpad, and I really like it. At first I had trouble with the size of the leg strap, but haven't had any trouble with it since I adjusted it. I like that it has a place for notepaper and pen, which allows me to copy ATIS and other stuff down. For the price, I'd definitely recommend it.

i throw it on the dash. Since I'm using it for reference for work, transit and approaches I do have to grab it bunches, but it doesn't get in the way up there...

What's wrong with a pad of paper or a told card. I guess I don't get the need for a filing cabinet strapped to your leg.
