How many different planes have you flown?

After reading Pilot602's post about flying 4 different planes in 4 days, I'm curious as to how many different kinds of planes people here have flown.

I've logged time in PA-38 Tomahawks, PA-28 Archers, a PA-28RT Arrow, a C-172 Skyhawk, a C-182 Skylane, a Cirrus SR-22, and PA-44 Seminoles. So I've logged hours in 7 various models. I've also flown C-152s and a C-177RG Cardinal, but those were before I was pursuing flight and able to log the hours. The Seminoles and the Arrow have been my favorites with the SR-22 right behind.

What about the rest of you? What have you flown? What did you like the most? Inquiring minds want to know!

C-172 R, M, SP, C-150, C-182 (as of Saturday)
Aeronca Champ 7DC

So looks like about seven total.

Yup. But over the next month I expect to get into a C-310, Piper Arrow, Cherokee, and maybe a Senneca.

A plane's a plane's a plane. Remember a while back that "grass is always greener" story in the general section where the gist was different pilots doing their thing and looking up in the sky to something they wish they were doing? Same applies. There's many times I'd just like to be left alone to do as I wish in a Piper Lance, on a nice, scenic VFR flight around AZ.

Cessna 150/152, 172, 182, 310, 401
Piper PA-28, PA-28/R, PA-30, PA-32, PA-34
Beech BE-35, BE-36, BE-55, BE-58, BE-76
Diamond DA-40
AC-90 Twin Commander
Aerostar (AEST)

Not too exciting, I'm afraid...

Buncha Cessna 172s (even one with a STOL kit on it...freaky!

) , Piper PA44 Seminole, Piper PA44T Turbo Seminole, Mooney M20C Ranger, Socata TB9 Tampico, Piper Arrow, Piper Warrior, Piper Archer. I got a chance to "fly" an F/A-18C sim at Miramar once...but that doesn't really count.

Sad sight: Actually watched both NC-141As (short body) 12776 and 12777 get cut up at DM. They were still in the old MAC white over grey scheme.

Lucky dog, how I'd loved to have flown an A-37!

Aeronca Champ

I think thats all of 'em. Nothing too exciting, but might be adding something with 2 engines that burns Jet-A to the list pretty soon (fingers crossed).

Actually we had 775, 776, 777, and 779 as A models at WPAFB, before they went to Edwards. The first three were the original pre production test birds and 779 was the second production example. We downloaded all the test equipment out of 775 and 777 and flew them during Desert Storm, no AHRS, no INS, just a doppler nav and sextant for the navigator. (Edited to add:(I forgot, nav had a LORAN-C too. One of those oscilloscope ones that he had to plot onto a chart. Never did figure out how he did that.))

The A-37 was a lot of fun, flew it on a couple of spin sorties at Edwards. Roll-coupled inverted was my favorite spin entry.

doppler and sextant only? That would've been interesting. Rated navigators are becoming somewhat extinct too; see many holding various ALO jobs.

[apologize in advance for the off-topic]

Guess I'll chime in as well:

C-150, C-152, C-152 Aerobat, C-172 (w/ and w/out STOL kit), C-172RG, C-182, C-210, C-310, C-340A, Cherokee 235hp, Warrior, Commanche, TB-9, Arrow (T-tail, and otherwise), Beech T-34A Mentor, BE-76 Duchess, DA-20 Katana, Robinson R-22 beta, Super Decathlon, Turbo Seminole, and a Lear 35A.

And I hope the list keeps growing, and growing, and growing.........
