How long were you at the regionals and where did you go from there?

2 yrs at ZV, 7.5 yrs at MQ.
9.5 total at a regional, now at NK.

Upgraded in 6 months at ZV. Guys in my MQ newhire class got awarded an MQ upgrade the day I started at NK.

I don't believe I would have been hired at NK without the TPIC I got at ZV.

2.5 years at Colgan, upgraded there for a little while then spent 2.5 years at SkyWest. Left recently to be a CQFO at Trans States. Hoping it's the last lateral before I can move on to an ULCC/LCC or legacy job and park my rear end there.

I didn't start this thread but I am curious to know how many made CA at the regionals.

Funny thing was when I totalled by logbook after I left my regional, I had 1001 hours tpic. There were people in my newhire class who had a lot more, and some who had none. From talking to everyone, networking seemed to be the common theme. Flight experience varied greatly in my class.

Those who have left for 135/91, are you still hoping to get on with a major, or are you happy outside of 121.

Pretty happy for now.

I was (probably) the highest paid B200 copilot (and not logging time, now CA) in the country, working 7 on and 7 off, and sleeping in my own bed daily. Right now, it's great. While commuting for 121, I spent way too much time trying to figure how/when to get back to base. It really sucks with these high loads. Living in base is the only way to do this with a family (my opinion).

If QOL gets better, maybe, but we're done moving. My 9 y/o is living in her 5 house and 4th city. She's lived in this house the longest of any. We're done.
