Wannabepilot, just curious, are you or your parents paying? Because if you are paying for the training, be aware that it requires a huge amount of money upfront and working from paycheck to paycheck may slow your training progress. On the other hand, if your parents are paying, then take advantage of it, and take them to a nice place they'd like. Also, from what I hear, don't count of too much ME time from instructing, although you can certainly get some. Finally, remember to stop/slow down, and smell the roses. It's a fun time, enjoy it!

I am VERY fortunate to have my parents support and pay for my flight training. I wasn't planning on too much ME time while instructing, maybe some here and there. I'll definitley remember to smell the roses and take it easy, have fun, and enjoy the priveledges!

Also, where do you find girlfriends with such low maintenance? $500 will buy you a year of something-something. Amazing. You'd be lucky to last two weeks here with $500.
