Wait, wait. So wearing a half wing gets me free drinks/food, but going full gets me nothing? I'd keep the half wings even after year one. ;)

I typically know of only once place that has a court-mandated lanyard policy.

I just carry all my charts, certs, and clothes in grocery bags, no muss no fuss!

I carry my pilot certificate up my right sleeve, company ID up my left sleeve, I palm my medical certificate so I can pretend to pull it from behind someone's ear... my passport, radio operators license, business card, and hotel rewards cards are sewn together end to end, and I keep those under my tongue.
I like to put on a little magic show while being ramp checked, dealing with customs, during a job interview, checking in to a hotel, etc.

Some of the current trash bag products may actually hold up better to travel than some of the Samsonite luggage I've seen lately.
