How did you meet your significant other?

I'm tired of trying to meet ladies in the bars, and I'm looking for new ideas of where to meet them. So my question for you, is how did you meet your significant other?

I met mine in East Ellis Hall my freshman year in the Burg.

Now i know i'll lose credibility because of our "age." But whatever..

Met through school, and the use of myspace. 2 years later, still kicking strong while she's in college and i'm going to college! We're the "high-school sweethearts" in everyones minds at school.

She came up and asked where all the men were who knew how to dance . . . I raised my hand (she was only talking to me anyway)

I knew during the first dance. We married 8 months and 2 days later. That was 12 years ago:)

maybe just the beginning:)

I met mine through racing friends - she was in Boston for St. Patricks day, and never left my side since.

Mine was in college and working the AM shift at UPS as a tug driver/marshaller. I was flying a Carvan on a UPS feeder routeat the timeand I first noticed her when she was hired before Thanksgiving in '06. Didn't see much of her the next month or so, then after the first of the year, she started bringing the can to the airplane on a regular basis. After some encouragement from one of the other employees, I finally summoned the courage to talk to her and ask her out. We went out that weekend and have been together ever since. We are getting married April of next year and we couldn't be happier.

Mail order bride from a third world country. . . . . OR I met her at college. (But the first one sounds way more scandalous. :) )

she knew my best friend which was a woman i went to high school with, and was my best friend after a failed attempt to date the best friend. Glad i never made it with the best friend because this was January 10, 2003 and she is still with me to this day. almost 5 years! i know she is the one because when i decided the railroad wasnt working out and i wanted to return to my original dream of being an Airline Transport Pilot, she was on board from the door! she even initiated a trip to airplaneview park outside LaGuardia airport! she would say "hey baby, lets go to that park where u can see the planes landing over your head" of course my favorite approach when they land on runway 4 at LaGuardia. Its been crazy in love ever since! I'll try to upload a picture of her and I.

funniest part is, i am 6'5 185 pounds, and she is 5'2" and 130 pounds!!! thats like a Boeing 757 in love with a Cessna 172 Skyhawk!
