Absolutely ridiculous!!! I can't believe such people would come up with something like that. Yeah, and if the Harley guys rode through they wouldn't care...good ol' middle-class proud American guys/gals enjoying their bikes. But aviators? Oh no! Rich yuppy business-men returning their 16 yr old sons from a golf trip. Little do they know that most aviators are poor students building hours and struggling to pay their student loans.

Missed approaches is what I was thinking too. Oops, wrong airport, oops, wrong airport again, oops didn't like my approach on that one, let me try it again etc. What time is it again....cool 03:45 I have plenty of time in the pattern all by myself.
<sees lights in the distance>.....Here come the rest of the JC airforce to join the pattern of missed approaches till 6am.

I'll take the 9:00 PM to mid-night shift. I need to do some night flying anyway.
I wonder if this place is like the town I fly out of. The airport has been there since the 1930s. We have people who have recently moved into the area to buy their nice houses (since it is a little cheaper than buying closer to Washington DC) and they bitc& and complain and want the airport to be closed.
I would prefer to see their house plots to be turned into runways.
