That may be true but between now and the time that transition is finished, someone could get a job at another regional, make $20-30,000 more first year, upgrade in a year, and start interviewing at LCCs. Like you said, you should look at the long term, and the industry is cyclic, so it's best to ride the wave now while it lasts.
Sure, someone could do that. You are totally correct. That decision is a long and hard one to make, giggity! Where I'm at works for me but wouldn't work for others. My view is optimistic and long term. When I got the job offer no one was hiring and upgrade times were 12 years. Now it's a hiring free-for-all and two year upgrades. That all changed in just under 14 months. I'm not saying don't come to QX but I'm also not saying not to not come to QX. I mean do your homework. Buyer beware. Smoke bomb!
