Obviously, SureJet didn't work and was immediately, and rightfully retracted.

So how about we "crowd source" a new name for the combined airline that's approaching their "single operating certificate" milestone.

Obviously the search engines will find this thread and who knows if the powers-that-be find a suitable suggestion for a name for the combined carrier.

Who is first? :)

All kidding aside. I'm for Keeping ExpressJet with the 'Acey' callsign. I also think Jetlink would work. Anything but SureJet.

I'm going with "SwooshAir"

but seriously, i don't see why they don't just keep with Express....it is a regional after all and it does sound *fast*.
 
As previously stated, SkyWest Airlines, Inc. "SKYWEST" will stay SkyWest.

Acey-Jetlink will become SkyEast Airlines, Inc., call sign "ONE LIST".

Kind of bringing KLB and 777's idea to life.. its really rough and took three mins to create.. but could look great. In my opinion, it would be a decent name. I personally like the callsign, so it could stay the same or Acey could be the callsign.

what do you guys think?

Don't like that Partner. Ally. Friend. phrase. Wasn't it Ready. Set. Jet. when XJT re-branded?
 
I'm not sure of the company name but the call sign should be "Moped." Some of my XJT friends will understand!
 
Moped is an awesome callsign! As for the company name. Keep either expressjet or asa. Both were good, pick one, easy.

Moped rolls off the tongue better! But it would be really cool with Three Cups painted on the tail. Not the cups but the man...the mustache, the dark locks of hair under the hat, the porn star mustache...striking really.

And the day I flew him, hat on in the cockpit doorway and sunglasses ON...like the 'man with no eyes' in Cool Hand Luke.
