Thoughts on this?

I’m not familiar with the military world, but I’d sure be in a lot of trouble if I was ferrying a plane for my airline and impromptu buzzed someone’s house.

Is this commonplace in the military? Can you just pull a stunt like this and face no consequences?

Sure seems strange, particularly in light of the horrific mid-air collision last year with an airliner.

Consequences are for only for the libtards, obviously.
 
Also, I remember when lawman said he wasn’t worried about hegseth and he was actually good because doge killed a useless military project.

I saw the video. It was incredulous.
 
I don’t like Trump, I don’t like Hegseth, and I don’t like Kid Rock or his music.

That said, I don’t find this display too egregious. I hate the political aspects of this. Kid Rock has played USO shows numerous times and don’t hate that he got a little appreciation for his efforts.

It looks the these guys avoided overflying the house or pool, Ft. Campbell helos overfly densely populated areas at low altitudes every day.

Wokka wokka, the sound of freedom etc. when Martha Lunken flew under a bridge it was handled differently (and correctly IMHO)

I think the Lunken case was handled correctly. I don’t think you recognize that this is a different scenario governed by different standards than the Lunken case.

Well, that’s what the investigation was supposed to find out. Now we’ll never get one. Just like we haven’t gotten any into the two ICE murders in my former home state, or into the egregious conditions in the totally-not-concentration-camps. Most transparent administration in history!

On this forum, we commonly defend pilots or reserve judgement pending more information.

While we may never know the restrictions placed on these pilots, it appears that there’s been a kind of rush to judgment that we are intolerant of in cases of commercial pilots.

I’m not a fan of the current administration but I’m curious if these pilots were going to get a fair shake.
 
The first I heard about this incident was that the helicopters were flying low over demonstrators, ala the Washington National Guard MEDEVAC helicopter in 2020 playing at ad hoc crowd control.

If all that really happened was these Apaches hovered near a location where they had reasonable belief nobody would object, an investigation probably should have been a nothingburger. But Secretary Drunkbomb just had to show a lack of trust in his organization and interfere…
