Position Description


We are currently looking to hire an highly experienced individual to join us as the Head of Flight Training. In this role you would be responsible for all ground and flight training programs within the Region. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of all ground and flight training programs is maintained. Below is a brekadown of the key responsibilities in this role; RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure that the programs being managed are operated in compliance with all appropriate regulatory agencies and Boeing mandated directives. Provide project direction, set priorities and monitor staff achievement. Accountable for the security of Boeing materials, projects and business information regarding the methods and techniques used in the production and usage of Boeing products. Maintains SFI/TRI currency. Provide support for marketing and sales teams. Prioritize workflow on daily, weekly and monthly basis. Interview prospective employees, evaluate and recommend employment. Oversees the accuracy of curriculum data input into ATMS. Continuously coaches and develops the Flight Training team. AUTHORITY LEVELS: Departmental Budgetary Control. Principal spokesperson for ground and flight training programs. Staffing decisions in conjunction with Human Resources. Conduct and implement flight training programs, policies and procedures within the region. Supervises Manager, Flight Training/ CFI, CGI, or persons fulfilling that function for all centers in the region. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Fast paced office environment. Some international travel to be expected.

Typical Education/Experience


Ideally you will hold a Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of experience and education. You will need significant corporate, military or airline pilot training experience or equivalent pilot experience. You will need to possess Airline Transport Certificate with multi-engine rating and turbojet type rating. Ideally you will have a significant amount of either ground or flight instructor experience. You will need to currently hold a Pilots license recognized by the local regulatory authority. You will hold a significant level of experience auditing and evaluating various records and systems.
