I'd suggest looking up the terms "Id, Ego, Super Ego"

noun
PSYCHOANALYSIS
  1. the part of the mind in which innate instinctive impulses and primary processes are manifest.
"the conflict between the drives of the id and the demands of the cultural superego”

Ok, I have some time.

You tend, at least on the internet, to blurt-out comments without regard to what you've previously said or even without an understanding of the issue. It's reflective of how you generally avoid giving direct answers, will deflect or ask a semi-related question in response. It doesn't mean you're a bad person or wrong, just… intellectually impulsive.

Perhaps, I guess? Though I’ll say if there was a question asked of me and I didn’t respond, I have no problem answering it if brought up to my attention.

One problem is, when I come here I see the bell icon and the red alerts there, and pay more attention to those posts that replied to me - so I click and answer that. But doing that means I didn’t read the prior posts in that thread, and only later catch up on the thread. Not always, but that does happen. Not gonna make excuses, but it is a reason why sometimes I answer a guy who directly quoted me, and may have missed a guy who didn’t quote a post of mine and then I never read his post.

So just extrapolate this phenomenon that you describe, to your process of selecting news headlines to link here :D

Intellectually impulsive is the northern version of “bless your heart”

Sounds like an example of being "intellectually impulsive" (tm @Derg ).

...SQUIRREL!

:)

My trip to LIH felt like a checkride last week Thursday and Friday. Even had to hold going into LIH for a light aircraft that crashed and closed 21. The way back was dodging TStorms the whole time and we even had to deviate more than 5 miles +/-300’ depending on your heading. First time I’ve done that.

But seriously, I’d have an issue with some insta • walking around a plane filming injuries. I’m the fool though cause I posted this.

I thought you didn't have instagram?

***laughs in ITCZ deviation***

But for real... it's been a mess that past two weeks.

Is this related to the "atmospheric river" we supposedly receive (in the PNW courtesy of the islands) during La Nina events like this? I'm not wx expert, but I do know what clouds look like

When you get to the airlines you really need to stop that sh-t. Stop psychoanalyzing everyone. It will kill CRM.

I mean, I know what you’re getting at here, but fyi, Freud is pretty much considered archaic nonsense at this point in modern psychology.

I dunno... cause your Freudian fingerprints are often on full display, over many threads that you "contribute" to daily here. Lol.
