PUSH ROLL POWER RECOVER!

YAS! Works great, lasts long time. It's all about preventing the LOI events like Colgan and even the latest Lear in TEB. Unload that wing first....

We had a pretty good class on that during the old 727 engineer days. But I doubt if it's being discussed these days.USair (when it was actually still AAA) had a whole manual dedicated to basic aerodynamics. I should see if I can find it anywhere. It had really good stuff in it.
I'm confused. Didn't you and I have a discussion, we'll really a make mention of, of the auto brakes in the bus? They work, they work was the gist of what I got from you.We had a pretty good class on that during the old 727 engineer days. But I doubt if it's being discussed these days.
The wings could do certain things. The engines can do certain things. The buffet margin, with high/low speed considerations would allow for certain things. They were all inter-related instead of simply looking at the FMS and presuming the "max" number meant you were good with them all.

Has your philosophy changed?

Sadly, we're in a world ("in a weeeeeeeeeerld") where if the FMS says "Okie doke" everyone presumes that the wing, engines and buffet margin are good.Ahh I miss that bird and all the tab data...
Unless it is smooth as heck I don't like going to recommended max alt. I personally like a little bit bigger buffer.

@Roger Roger and @ppragman
The safety dude got back to me. As relayed and as I understand it, FOQA doesn't cross monitor SIDS / STARS. It takes man power to analyze potential issues using open source tools.
Hope that helps.
I really have no idea!
