Not many details out yet but this:
A Gulfstream corporate jet was destroyed when it crashed at Le Castellet Airport (CTT), France. All three occupants were killed.
The airplane broke in two as it crashed near the runway end. One part ended up in a small pond, probably at the end of runway 13, the other part caught fire.

Spooky to see the TR's out. Little things like that always make it hit home more, that there were people up there likely trying to the very end. RIP.

That's two G-IVs this year. I hope it's not the beginning of a trend, both were landing accidents on different continents. I wonder if there are any commonalities.

I was also good friends with the FO. He was one of the greatest guys I have ever known. It truly is an eerie feeling, I was talking with him last night.

From what I've read on here and at PPR, it sounds like UJ had a 'history' of activity that made people uncomfortable. RIP to the crew. :(
