I just went through class there so I'll give you some info. There was a person with 250TT (lowest time person) but they worked there prior, everyone had at least 50 Multi. The training is unpaid, not even per diem to buy food. I had to sell my truck to pay for food and the bills while I was there. In CYS, there isn't a grocery store within 3 miles walking distance. It took me 3 weeks to get the hotel to put a fridge in my room, after I asked EVERYDAY for one, but it was my last week there. Those of us who didn't have a fridge or a car, it became apparent we had to eat out almost every meal, which quickly drained my cash. They're sending 7 1900s back to Beech/Raytheon 'cause they can't pay the bills. The october class was canceled, so those of you thinking this might be a good option, start making other plans. If you aren't hot with your instrument skills, even weak in one tiny area, they'll nail you for it and send you home, one guy was told to go home after his last sim session, so don't even waste your time. We had a few people say "eefff, this I'm going home." Have some cash saved up, cause when they send people home, they tell 'em to go home without an offer of help to get to the AIRPORT. Take it from me, someone who just went through it, keep building your flight time and try go elsewhere. No pay, no per diem, on your own for transportation, and they really treat people like crap. Sure the quick upgrade time is attractive, but that's about all they have to offer.
