The Ketchikan cruise ship plane crash from June 2015 also had its terrain system on inhibit, IIRC.

The preliminary report typically comes out roughly three months after the accident, and the final report often doesn't come out for another 9 - 21 months.Sorry to necro post but I was wondering if theres been any updates as to what happened?
No it was a dehavilland, on the way back continued the shorter over-land route that was cloud covered and hit a cliff. Last picture taken by a pax showed them in complete IMC. The longer route would have been around the south, over water. Would have added several minutes at best. The entire accident docket is an interesting read, especially some of the "cultural" aspect (eg, pilots were encouraged to never use the 'IMC' word, etc).
I took the first sailing of this ship, Holland America Westerdam, on May 9th 2015 from SEA up to Alaska and did the Ketchikan float plane tour. We had a great VMC weather day and enjoyed the sights. This same ship sailing on June 22 had the fatal accident in Ketchikan.
