Very nice, I heard you climb at like 190 or 200kias in those things. NY airspace must hate them![]()
It's cheaper to operate than most other jets (though quite slow comparatively speaking), it's extremely easy to operate single pilot...almost stupid proof. And I'm sure most owner pilots find 2.6 million a lot easier to swallow than 20 million.I still dont see the point of purchasing that aircraft. Perhaps someone can enlighten me.

I won't argue with that. I would much rather have a King Air.I think the issue is this vs. something like a King Air.
Im willing to bet the KA90 has a better load capacity.
with 4 passengers and full fuel the range is about 600 miles with reserves. it's not very big, but it does have ramp appeal
Just did a trip to NY and back - we were seeing fuel burn in the 600 - 620 range at .59m and FL360. At one point we went up to 370 (ATC) and it dropped to about 590 but that was the lowest I saw.

I was gonna say something when I read that but I didn't want the answer to be: Well how fast is your 172 buddy?Mach .59? Controllers must hate these things at those altitudes.
