After 2 long years in ACK my transfer finally went through, Effective 3/1 I'll be at a large radar facility in the northeast. To all those new with the FAA process the only advice I can give you is do your time, be patient and learn alot. What a great experience it was working in ACK for 2 summers, something I'll never forget.

Also, ACK had to have been a very expensive place to live.

Nantucket is crazy expensive, back in the day the controllers used to be able to stay at the coast guard base. They did away with that during the white book and It's never coming back. The kicker is, we are only getting RUS locality at 14%.
