Good luck Republic dudes and dudettes

HA! I like the upgrade note. 3 years or less as of August 2015... I'm at 3.5 years and still a couple months away...
That's why I left. I was looking at close to another 2 years after being there close to 2.5 years. And that's assuming upgrades continue as frequently as they had been. I really don't see that happening.

Is there a TL;DR yet? The FO pay rates look passable but I know there were always a lot of holes in the QOL/work rules over there.

I did notice there are LCRs in there. Is there any language actually mandating a certain percentage of reserves being long call? Is there any language that implies the company actually has to build or award LCR lines?

How have the FAs been enjoying their long call reserve?

Even if it passes, actually following the contract wrt work rules was never a big thing at RAH.

Well then it is time for the mainline carriers to figure out how important that feed is to them.

They've already figured that out. It's up the pilots to decide whether they want to continue being employed or not.

Come on! Why don't we just sit back and see what they decide. I'm not interested in putting fear into anyone's minds at this point. RJET pilots will make that decision and the puzzle pieces will land wherever they may. And hell, from what I understand, IBT may not even let it go to membership. It's on them to decide that and so be it.

The reality is if AMR wants the lift...

It's time for the mainline carriers to figure out they need to bring all this large RJ flying back to mainline.

Whaaaaaaaaaaamy!

It seems doubtful that RAH and their mainlines have already sorted everything out. Two weeks ago on the shareholder call BB said this:

However, let me be clear, this is no longer just about achieving a new labor deal with our pilots. We now also need to reach consensual modifications with our code share partners and other key stakeholders to be successful on the preferred path.

It's their decision.

It's as simple as that.

Most of the people screaming "Vote Yes, VOTE YES!" to me during our TA vote weren't going to have to live with the language.

Scope and the ability of the company to move your vacation from one month to another are some complaints I'm hearing. Apparently reserve section blows too.

Pay scale doesn't matter without tight scope. Fool me thrice....

In that case, I'm hearing bankruptcy and everyone on the street. They can't afford more, folks. It's that simple.

When did you start working in management at RAH? Unless you actually have your nose in their books and financials, I would hardly say you can make that statement. For all we know, if they vote this in, it still might bankrupt them with the higher costs and the reality they won't be able to get noobs on the line for at least 2-3 months from now. Let the people decide and whatever happens, happens.

Sheesh...talk about a QOL hit. Do tell me that if the Company decides to involuntarily move your vacation that you are somehow financially compensated a greater value for the inconvenience just imposed on you?

"Sorry hon, but that cruise we were going on? Well, we're not."
