Ask yourself. Do you want to fly a CRJ-900 for mainline on a mainline contract, or stay in the "Our RFP is lower that yo' RFP, hide yo' jets, hide yo' wife"? :)
I can't do the former without suffering the latter.

Oh, and our RFP probably isn't cheaper, but on average, we complete the (expletive) schedule nowadays, which ironically puts us ahead of the competition.

No it doesn't.

The example they gave, SFO-ORD now requires 6 pilots. By consolidating to a WB, they only need 2.

They aren't going to park those narrow bodies, they are going to redeploy them on another city pair.

I'm really happy with some of the 'reintroduced' layovers in the bid packets on the Airbus and 737.
