Sorry everyone. This sucks. I remember flying into Midway the day ATA shut down and talking to a crew trying to get home as I was collecting my stuff before going to work at Mesa.

Sad day indeed.
I left back in February for AA, 6 weeks shy of 9 years as one of “Ned’s Kids”. Spirit was a fantastic place to work. I always said it was the best kept secret in Aviation. The work rules were spectacular and offered QOL that is unmatched at most other airlines especially on the junior end of the spectrum.
Unfortunately Spirit didn’t make it. Those almost 9 years were the best of my professional life. Thank you to Spirit for giving me the opportunity to break into the 121 world back in 2017. I wouldn’t be where I am today without that opportunity.
I hope all of Spirits crew members can land on their feet as quickly as possible. If there is any way I can help please reach out.
