Getting out?

Not always can instructing be paying dues. If one has only been instructing in a C-172 then jumps to a CRJ or something, they should pay a due again. Docs once done with residence can pick a field and again go into specialized training, ie. paying dues. About going from company to company flying, your experience got you the better job, but you still have to start at the bottom working your way up. I mean a CRJ capt. ( no disrespect), should not be allowed to go to the top or middle of FedEx. They should start on the bottom of the list because they choose to go to a new carrier.
 
Getting out? Never crossed my mind. I enjoy the job completely. The pay isn't great, but its enough for me to live comfortably. I have enough time off at home and at the overnights to pursue other streams of income I have created. I feel once you know you can create money for yourself at anytime without "working for the man" you can truly pick a career you enjoy.

eBay. Buy wholesale and sell retail. You'd be amazed how much money you make working for yourself. Like Jim Jones said, so I treat the game just like i'm selling drugs...drugs.
 
I've thought about selling stuff on eBay like that..

In college I used to sell clothes I bought at thrift stores, dig stores, etc.. I guess the key is finding something that will sell easily on eBay..

Just go on eBay and click on "what's hot" Last time I checked Wii's, IPOD touch, XBOX 360 were the big ones that stuck out to me. Pick a product, search online for a wholesale auction, win a reasonable bid, sell it all on eBay within a week, pocket the profit. Do this couple times a month and you've just generated $500-$1000 bucks on your own time just by being financially proactive. No more worrying about if "the man" will pay you more soon:D
