Can't speak for the program now but when I did my IR there in '02 we did a ton of NDB approaches. I think at New Smyrna. Things I'm sure have changed by now though

I'm not sure how things work as of right now, but when I did my IR in the fall of 2008/spring of 2009, I didn't do more than 3 NDB approaches, on a PCATD. The 172's don't have an ADF in them. Sure, you can do the NDB/GPS approaches on the G1000, but it really isn't the same as using an ADF.
