Instructing takes it's toll on you at some point regardless of whether you are time building or fulfilling a life long dream. There is no financial upside, Ramen noodles get old, and in my last 1000 hours of instruction I have hit a couple lows. It happens. It doesn't mean you aren't professional and that your students are suffering. Some times you just need to whine a little. I pretty sure I had a very similar post to Jhugz at the beginning of the year. It happens, but I am very dedicated to doing the job right.
Anyways, You get through it Jhugz, and hopefully sooner rather than later. If the industry isn't for you , I guess I get that too, but judging by how much time you spend on here I'm sure you are in the right field. I notice my low points are always when I am not busy and have time to think about bigger and better things, and then as soon as it hits bottom something awesome happens with a student or life and it gets better for a while. I think it is just the way it goes. I am down in Manassas. Like mentioned above, maybe we should have a DC meet and greet and have a few drinks. It might help. Let us know if you need any more crappy advice.
By the way Full Moon, is much better than the bud lime. See.. lookin up already
