NGPA hosted Frontier webinar earlier today. Thanks to the shortcuts enroute and ORD giving us 28C vs 27R (that's the one in Wisconsin), I was able to attend.
The webinar was very well put together, guys answering questions did a great job, I think. Not everyone will be happy with those answers - ie the guys that are not current, but they were honest answers and reasons behind them were provided.
Overall about 730 people attended, which I think was a great turnout. Question ranged from great and thought out, to "hey, could you look at my resume now" (really?) and "what's competitive?" (Long explanation of why the preferred mins are what they are looking for) "that's cool, but what's competitive?" Or "if I go pay for an A320 type, will you hire me?" (Short answer is no).
I'm not particularly well versed in the intricacies of the airline hiring, but I couldn't help but think of
@Derg's friends experiences in the hiring events. Asking a question to get noticed isn't always a great thing I'd think.
