Actually that is the one airline a lot of NK probably should not apply to as a new hire quite yet. There are still indications of a possible takeover out of the bankruptcy which would result in a merged seniority list of some sort. However, I am sure a lot of the NK folks are applying to all of the legacies that opened up recently.I have to imagine there's a lot of interest in Frontier from Spirit dispatchers who see the writing on the wall.
Hopefully I'm not too late! When I was hired, you started with an online test. Fairly simple stuff, read METAR, TAF, when do you need an alternate, fuel requirements, nothing crazy.Just got the online face to face and test, what type of questions are usually on the test?
Overtime comes and goes, some times there's a lot, sometimes there isn't much. If all goes according to plan, so no one goes to Delta, United, American, retires, dequals or something silly like that; on paper there should be zero overtime. However, sometimes we aren't fully staffed, eventually we will be changing dispatch programs, other trainings, and then vacation coverage. There are a lot of things that change how much OT could be available. I've seen months were even the highest people in seniority get junior assigned an overnight shift, but I've seen it were junior assignments are essentially non-existent.For those that work here or have worked there how is the overtime and shift trades?
