Even though I have had to wait forever to get a class date...and am still waiting. I feel like Robert Anderson has done good by me. He is always quick to answer my questions even the 5th time I call him lol, and has taken the time to explain why I am still waiting for a class date. Anyways, it would still be nice to have my fol...

I attended the July 11th NYC PEPC. I received my FOL today for Austin Tracon with a start date of Oct 21 at the academy. freedom!!!! (using my best Mel Gibson voice from braveheart)

I have Charlene Sade too. I finally got in contact with her last Tuesday (8/19) and she said all of my clearances are complete and she put me in the Oct 21 class. That evening she called me again and said she was just informed they were re-doing the entire class schedule and she couldn't put me in a class until she got the updated schedule. So....she took me out of the Oct 21 class and I am yet waiting again. :banghead:

:yeahthat: AviatorGirl I am at the same stage you are with the same OKC POC (finally got in contact with her yesterday...started calling on the 12 of this month). I've never been offered a firm class date though...you seem to have more luck than I, so if you hear back from her with a revised class schedule/academy date, please let us know!

Building....not really....just putting up shelves and organizing the last 55 years of my mom's life and the last 53 years of her husbands....No small task!!!

That doesn't sound too bad, while I have been waiting I managed to sand and stain my parents deck and fences. Last couple weeks I have been stripping and refinishing the kitchen cabinets and woodwork. All for the pleasure of staying here the last month :crazy:

YEAH BABY!!! I can finally add my name to this thread as one of the "I finally got my FOL"ers. Perservere everyone, especially those of you who have DT as your HR rep. He may seem like he's taking his sweet time, but sooner or later, you'll get sweet closure to this long long process.

Heard from my HR rep today. My FOL should be in the mail. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Are people still getting the FOL's via FEDEX or is it standard US mail now?

Mine was fedex, but didn't get until about a week after email though.

YES!!!!! :rawk:

I finally got my clearance!!!! Only bad part is the now 2 month wait to go to OKC on Nov 10.... oh well.... the wait like it has been so far, will be worth it!!!

Now to find a place to live!
