Got the time off and traded in some Skymiles for a ride. I'll be there the 18th thru the 21st. Just need to find a room. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
 
This might be why hotels are so expensive.

The lowest rates I’ve seen anywhere close to the strip is the old Hooters place. I think it’s The OYO now. Even the Luxor is higher than normal that weekend.

My wife will likely stay home. Who wants to hang out with some drinking pilots and people. That and we are there over Labor Day as we are each year.......
 
I’m going to do my best to be there but first year tour pilot daily pay is no where close to the nightly rate of the hotels that weekend. Sounds like it’ll be a blast though.

The tower rooms are worth the few extra bucks to avoid the sketchy elevators.
