Flying to Prom Dinner

Ok...I guess I will be a naysayer...but this is completly lame! I thought you were a class act based upon your posts...all the neat airplanes you fly, etc. I simply can't believe that you did this flight in an airplane with a nosewheel! I mean, really...a Cub with the door open would have been awesome! Probably concerned about her hair or something :(.

Seriously, looks nice - good job. And, you have already mastered one of the key elements of aviation - the ability to "date out of your league".

Wow, thanks for all of the comments guys. :)

I would have been up for taking the Cub. (I think.) The old airplane smell and messed up greasy hair that always happens might be a turn off though. ;)

I put an hour on the Cub yesterday (senior skip day :nana2:) to make up for my tri-wheeled foolishness. :buck:

Excellent work! Dude that is class all around :) what a cool story and you have the pictures to remember it by!

I thought of doing that, and my date's dad was an airline pilot (ex USAF and Braniff), so he would've been all for it. Unfortunately, the weather was nowhere near as agreeable. Looks like it was fun, though.
