Only if I have to. If the Army didn't require me to have a cell phone in 2014, I'd still be mobile-free, with just my land-line. Our culture relies on technology too much.Instead of carrying that all around you can use foreflight!
I once was one that said 'batteries never die on a chart' until I had to manage a whole Jepp subscription.
I don't like computers, and they don't like me.
A reliance on computers tends to make people less intelligent, and more dependent. There are lot of high school and college kids who have difficulty doing simple math in their head, and "need" a calculator. Besides, Apple's stuff is way overpriced. I can't justify it.
To each their own though. I'm not comfortable with computers, and don't feel compelled to be. As soon as I get used to one, it will need to be replaced with a new version that I'll need to learn all over again, and then the next version will come out, and then the next one, then the next one, etc. Ain't nobody got time fo' that! Not me anyhow, I got better things to do with my time and money.
