Wow, I just noticed the $10 charge over there. It's nuts! You can't even VIEW the posts without registering. So, all future "members" will have to sign up blind, not even knowing what they're getting. Very stupid if you ask me. And nobody did. I really liked that they have active dispatchers posting on the dispatching forum. Now, because I'm not a "member" I'll never get to read what's going on over there because that sight is NOT worth $10/year.

Not that I'd do that here, but it pretty much brings to an absolute halt having to pre-screen users and worrying if the newbie from the @yahoo.com email address is logging on just to flame.

Now that shifts all of the "I get my rocks off my flaming forums" guys over to free websites like jetcareers. Oh, fantastic.

However, I've got the best mods on the net, so no worries.

I know you and the Mod Squad can handle it Doug. You just mentioned probably the only positive to charging a fee. What they are doing is really stupid because you can’t even read the posts without being a member. (I know, I just said that in my last post, but it's late and I'm out of beer). I can see charging a fee to cut down on the flame posts, but to not allow J. Q. Public to even read your goods is pretty stupid.

Well, that's all I've got to say about that.

Prost!
