Flight tomorrow!

You didnt log it?

Sounds like a scenic flight...

you may want to clarify an intro flight next time

Can both you and an instructor (and fuel) fit in a 150? I taught a lot in 152s because I dont weigh very much. Try to find a girl instructor or a short guy. Heh
Haha yeah. He said we could, since I'm really skinny. :cwm27:

Nope, didn't log it, and he never even mentioned it.
I did clarify.....
He asked me right when I got there for clarification, too. He definitely knew. He's just a piece of crap instructor.

Then I'd go with the 150. Almost half as expensive as the 172 and it still has wings and an engine, still does all the maneuvers, etc.

By any chance did you go to a place called "ProFlight"- Stay away. I too did a discovery flight and a few lessons WAAAAAAAY WAYYYYY back in the day, like 1997 back in the day, and lets say... I never went back.

Yeah. I'm not going to train there, thoguh. I'm going to go to the downtown "WD3" airport.

Shoot me a PM and Ive got a few names of guys in the SGF area that are personal friends of mine, CFI's and old college friends too, About mid twenties in their age, GREAT guys!

AWesome man! Thank you SOOOO much!

Dont let the bad experiance get you down.

Yours was not an intro flight, more of a ride. Go for a real into flight. Make sure you fly from the left and get to log it.

Good luck!

Ya, I think you did get ripped off. Sorry.

Go to another school and get a REAL intro ride.

As an example, when I was 8 years old I took my intro-ride, it was $25 (in the year 2000) for .5 in a C152. The CFI spent at least half and hour with me on the ground on the pre-flight, then let me do the WHOLE flight from the left seat, and of course, log it.

Thats exactly how I did mine too, tlewis. Only would occasionally have to correct to maintain on assigned altittude/heading. You have to look at it like you're a salesman, and I'm a crappy salesman so rather than try to convince him verbally I try to make it as interesting as possible.

Like a flying drug dealer, first time is free (well cheap)... then I try to addict you over the course of the flight... mwahaha.

The instructor made you sit right seat??? My instructor always sat right seat, even when he was by himself. :laff:

Last time I sat in the left seat was a trip last summer with my wife, she would not sit on the left. My landings were not as smooth as they are from the right...and yes when alone...

Been over a year almost for me, since I got my CMEL. That might be the last time until I'm a captain or flying single part 135. I like the right seat, nice an comfy.

Thanks for the posts guys. I will definitely go get a different intro at a different place. I will most likely go to WD3 in downtown Springfield.
