Does Denzel Washington, in the move Flight, remind you of Doug Taylor?

Just got home and was really impressed. I really thought it sad going to suck, but it was surprisingly technically accurate (NTSB Go Team, basically the Alaska MD80 crash) and a decent plot/story behind it too. The opening scene didn't hurt either.

This poll question is racist.

haha! :D :D

Haha I was going to say the same thing! I haven't seen it yet, but I heard the pilot does lines, then a couple shots before going on his flight lol. I'm not sure I'd want to be compared to this guy.

:D

I didnt know all that. I just thought he was a badass pilot that saves a bunch of lives. Anyway, doesnt Doug Taylor get kind of crazy at NJC?

I guess I'll go see the movie tomorrow.

I saw it last night and it was a great movie. Of course a lil Hollywood was added he and there but aviation was the background for a great plot line

Thought it was really good, more focus on drugs than flying but no major things that I was like "Well that's total bs" from the aviation side as far as realism that I really noticed at least, which is nice. Also learned a little coke can solve anything!

I heard this way more of an addiction movie than an aviation movie...

I watched the trailer, and the first thing I asked was "Why is the FO a little [female dog]?" :D

Because, as tlewis95 states:
