Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Kirtland, New Mexico:<BR /><p> Provides instruction as aircraft Operator, Flight Engineer, Navigator, Loadmaster or other defined aircrew position on company aircraft. Acts as instructor aircrew for training of aircrew during syllabus training flights and may conduct classroom training of customer aircrew. Designs courses and/or provides classroom instruction to flight crew including such subjects as aircraft systems, operation procedures, emergency procedures, troubleshooting, navigation, aerodynamic radio operation, civil air regulations, and company policies and procedures using responder system where practical. Conducts aircraft visits and procedure training in both static aircraft and procedures trainers. Assists in cockpit familiarization. Determines and reports on student proficiency. Maintains and secures assigned training equipment, training aids, manuals, course material, and supplies. Maintains required training records, files, and reports. Provides special instructions and counseling for weak students. Develops new methods, techniques, and training aids for increased efficiency</p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p>C-130J Pilot instructor. Governing CBA in place. Various shifts. <br />This position is at ATARS <strong>Kirtland AFB, NM.</strong><br />Provides instruction to C-130J military aircrew regarding aircraft systems, planning considerations, and operational employment in the following mediums: classroom, training devices, and flightline static aircraft. Provides subject matter expertise during the Instructional System Design process associated with contractor delivery of aircrew training modules. Performs secondary duties directly related to student training as determined by the Weapon Systems Lead instructor. Hiring of ATARS Contract Instructors is predicated on demonstrated superior instructional aptitude coincidental with flight experience in C-130 mission design series. Instructors are potentially required to travel off-site to receive or provide C-130J systems and academic/simulator training.</p><div>&nbsp;</div>
