Our on-the-job training and team of experts mean you?ll be set up for success.</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities and duties:</strong></p> <p>Ensure the provision of safe maintenance test flight support to aircraft allocated to Vector Aerospace International Ltd (VAIL) and undertake maintenance test flying.</p> <p>Ensure that all flying operations are compliant to the MAA MRP?s.</p> <p>Management of all aircrew providing support to maintenance test flying programmes.</p> <p>Coordination and prioritising of the daily flying programme.</p> <p>Liaising with internal/ external customers on the receipt / despatch of aircraft.</p> <p>Implementing Air Safety strategy within their Area of Responsibility (AoR) and adhering to the Air Safety Policy.</p> <p>Continually promoting the Air Safety policy to all staff within their AoR and demonstrating their commitment to that policy.</p> <p>Developing an engaged Air Safety culture.</p> <p>Within their AoR identify and monitor any decision, activity or change in circumstance that results in operating hazards that have the potential to introduce new or increased (RtL) in VAIL operations and / or challenge the achievement of ALARP and Tolerable.</p> <p>Responsible for maintaining their own continuing professional development.</p> <p><strong>Professional Qualifications/Education and Training:</strong></p> <p>Possession of a UK Military flying badge Pilot.</p> <p>Possession of a UK Military Certificate of Qualification on Type Chinook.</p> <p>Air Test Captain Experience preferable.&nbsp;</p> <p>1000 Hours Rotary Wing Flying on Military Helicopters.</p> <p>Abel to hold a Medical Employment Standard (MES) A3 (with Audio and Eyesight at A2) or higher.
