I've also heard to never buy an airplane that has a Franklin engine.
Again, like the Rotax, if you're going to operate one, find a mechanic who knows how to work on them. They're very smooth engines from what I've been told about them, but if you don't run them right, forget it. Much like the GO-300 that Cessna ran for a while, good engine, but people didn't know how to operate them.
