I appreciate everyone being nice and helpful. This is all a learning experience as a fresh commercial pilot.
He didn't answer your questionLooking at the site you have one of your Team members that is a 737 instructor, with 1500 hours TT and a type on a 737NG? LOL is that for real?

Wait, let me consult the Human Resources Practices Manual.Wrong answer my friend. If your doing a ferry trip that needs to be covered along with per diem. What your doing by saying that is trying to undercut the rest of us. Best way to make enemies right there.

I've made a couple recent posts looking for ferry pilots. SkyCrew Aviation is moving the airplanes and I continously need pilots for all the various ferry requests.
If you are interested in doing occasional contract work please fill out the pilot qualifications form found here:

Thanks!
I have 280tt with 170 multi. I have airline flight privileges and can fly most any where. I am also laid off at the moment and able to go at a moments notice. Let me know if there is a ferry I qualify for and I will jump on it! I will fill out the form today.
Dude. No. No using jump seat privies for commercial gain. Big no no, bad juju.I have 280tt with 170 multi. I have airline flight privileges and can fly most any where. These are my flight privileges. Not someone else's. and it's already been ok'd with my manager. I currently commute from sacramento to Phoenix ever other week to fly a Barron. The manager knows this and is fine with it. I appreciate your concern. However, I am just trying to build a little extra time.Dude. No. No using jump seat privies for commercial gain. I tried to help you in the other thread. I'm out man. Some people actually care to help my career take off and are happy to help any way possible. Including not making it a big deal when I use MY bennies to commute.
I guess you have no idea how it works...One day when you're commuting to your regional, you're going to get bumped by some guy abusing his bennies. You'll jump very quickly to the other side of the court when that happens.
Flight benefits are not meant to be commercialized. PERIOD.
That much is up to you and your personal situation financially. A lot of people will say not, some will say yes. I wouldn't fault you for taking it, but I personally wouldn't fly for a company who can't take the 200 dollar hit to interview me. It costs MUCH more than that to train me and anyone else. The interview flight should be a confidence factor on their part that you are a good candidate. They have no vested interest in applicants if they have not spent any money to bring them in.Just curious....
Is it wrong for me to apply to a job in Texas that will NOT pay for my flight out to interview??? Is it wrong to apply and simply fly out on my airline for free to the interview?
I'm just using resources available to me.
Oh yeah I forgot, every airline works the same way. My bad.I guess you have no idea how it works...
You think my ticket counter benefits can bump a commuting pilot or flight attendant?? Absolutely not! They are waaaay further up the list than I am.
I've worked for 4 airlines and it is the same system. Infact, I worked the ticket counter at 2 of them and it is literally the same entry code to list someone with benefits on a flight. The "priority" is the same at each airline as well. I was a flight attendant and commuted on basically every airline domestically. It's all the same. I had priority over the ticket counter people even on airlines other than the one I worked for. It's a "cabin seat agreement" specifically for commuting flight crews. Ill never bump anyone. But thanks for your input.Oh yeah I forgot, every airline works the same way. My bad.
